    I'm a mom of two, a proud fire wife, certified birth doula, childbirth educator, and the founder of The Breezy Doula.

    When I started The Breezy Doula in 2022, I had one simple dream: to make sure every mom felt supported. My own journey to motherhood included both heartbreak and two beautiful birth experiences, and it showed me the power of preparation, education, community and compassionate support.

    What began as one doula with a passion for serving families has grown into an incredible team that has supported hundreds of moms throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I'm also the creator of A Breezy Birth, an in-depth, on-demand childbirth education course that teaches families how birth works, comfort measures, labor positions, partner support, and so much more to help them prepare for birth with confidence.

    When I'm not supporting families, I love teaching childbirth education classes and hosting our monthly Bumps & Bubbly community for expecting moms. My mission has always been simple: to help every family feel informed, empowered, and truly supported as they welcome their baby.

    My name is Cori! I’m a birth doula who strongly believes that when your mind is in the right space, you can accomplish what feels like the impossible.

    I was born and raised here in Southern Orange County, and I’m a proud mother of four strong-willed, slightly feral kiddos — which makes life all the more fun! We love getting outside and soaking up as much sunshine as we can.

    Birth work has always held a special place in my heart. I believe we are all connected through Mother Earth and the new beginnings that birth brings into the world.

    My passion for birth work truly grew when I gave birth to my first daughter. By immersing myself in holistic based research of births, reading all the books and learning that birth can be a sacred experience, I was able to birth all my children unmedicated and feel truly fulfilled. Trusting myself — believing I could be strong and powerful through the unknown trials of birth — felt empowering and inspiring. Being vulnerable enough to release tension and worry so I could stay deeply rooted in my mind and body blossomed into a quiet, trustworthy confidence that motherhood would become a sacred new walk of life. That feeling has stayed with me, and I knew I needed to share it.

    As part of your support team, it is my goal to help you feel confident in yourself, your birth story, and your motherhood — regardless of how you birth your child. You are not only breathing life into your baby, but into yourself as a mother. Whether you are brand new to motherhood or seasoned in it, your birth story matters. It shapes and influences your journey. It is so important to honor your time in your birthing space and feel protected there.

    Becoming a birth doula has allowed me to offer the greatest gift I can give: connection. Standing as strong emotional support and advocating for women during one of the most transformative moments of their lives is a true honor. Being present in that sacred space is nothing short of magical. During each length of your journey- throughout pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum period, I provide emotional, physical, and informational support to help you through so you feel confident in your new walk of life.

    In my every day life, I own an all natural body care business and I am a Sound Bath Healer. From the time I was 16, I was always interested in helping myself and others heal! First, this manifested itself when I launched Botanical Bliss; my chemical free body care line, made from pure and natural ingredients. After creating a business that helped to heal people from the outside in, I wanted to dive into something even more holistic and spiritual; Sound Bath Meditation. I have found both of these pursuits to be very rewarding in different ways and love being able to provide others with peace and serenity.

    Hello, I’m Michele!  My journey into birth work began with a simple desire: to help women feel heard, supported, and confident as they bring their babies into the world. I chose this path because I know personally how much support can change a birth story.

    I believe birth is not just a physical experience, but an emotional and spiritual one as well. Labor itself is hard work - it is raw and real and sacred - and I felt called to be someone who could walk alongside families with calmness, care, and compassion.

    My main focus is to hold space for families, through quiet reassurance, hands-on comfort, and informed advocacy - whether you're planning a hospital delivery or a home birth. Birth is more than a medical event — it is a turning point in a story and it is a privilege I don’t take lightly.

    I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 39 years, and together we’ve raised three sons who are now all grown up and living in different parts of the world. (which, I’ll admit, isn’t the easiest for me!) When I’m not attending births, you’ll usually find me hosting dinner parties in our beautiful garden, reading, hiking or cheering (enthusiastically and loudly!) for the Denver Broncos.

Pregnancy for me was smooth sailing and I had an amazing pregnancy however when we had our daughter my boyfriend was back to work and I was alone with our baby. That sparked a curiosity in me. I was learning & going through all the waves of motherhood and I knew I didn’t want another mom to go through the same thing. So that’s when I took my DONA Certification training and became a postpartum doula. Now I serve families and provide that support as they navigate life with a new baby.

     For as long as I can remember, I have been captivated by protecting women's stories and voices.     Hey Mama!

    I started my birthwork journey as a birth photographer and storyteller in 2013. After documenting birth stories and also having my own children, I realized that mamas and families need extra support, encouragement, education and a calm knowing presence in their home and birth space. I started officially supporting mamas as a birth doula in 2021 after completing an online training and in-person mentorship. 

    I love learning and deepening my understanding of holistic health and wellness and ways to support our bodies, that is why I have completed various trainings to benefit not only my clients but also my family and friends. I believe we are supposed to pass on any knowledge we gain to help others. Prov. 2:6

    I've supported mamas in the hospital, home and birth center settings as well as the OR. I personally have had 4 hospital births and 3 home births. I've exclusively breastfed 6 of my kids and exclusively bottle-fed my youngest.

    A few extra things about me. I've been with my husband since I was 18. I'm a 2nd generation homeschooling mama of 7 kids. I coach my boys' baseball team and I've been told I can make a good pot of beans. :)

    My work is deeply rooted in ancestral practices inspired by my own family traditions, with a strong foundation in Mexican traditional medicine. I honor la cuarentena, the sacred 40 days postpartum. By creating a space for rest, warmth, nourishment, and deep healing.

    I offer holistic, support through ancestral practices such as belly binding, vaginal compresses, yoni steams, herbal care, handcrafted warming oils, closing of the bones and placenta encapsulation. My approach is gentle, intuitive, and centered on truly caring for the mother’s mind, body, and spirit.

    I’ve had the honor of supporting a wide range of births, including VBACs, natural twin births, and cesarean births, holding space for each journey with softness, presence, and deep respect.

    After many years of supporting friends and family, whether through birth or postpartum care. I felt called to deepen my practice. In 2025, I became a certified doula through Birth Workers of Color Collective, further grounding my work in community, culture, and intentional care.

    I’m a mom of three, wife, a DONA certified postpartum doula, newborn care specialist and trained in Ayurveda for motherhood.

    Postpartum is like a step into the Unknown and no aspect of your life goes unchanged. It lacks of resources and visibility and that’s where I come in, like a warm hug, inside and out.

    I provide hands on physical, emotional and informational support, tips and tricks on newborn care and soothing, aid in recovery and healing, assisting in breast and bottle feeding, making nurturing meals and snacks as well as some light housework.

    I aim to truly nurture the mother and making the whole family comfortable, confident and empowered.

Along with my DONA doula training, I have a background in psychology as well as child development. I have found that being a postpartum doula is the perfect fit for me.     I’ve always had a deep love for children and a fascination with motherhood. The strength, the transformation, and the incredible things a woman’s body can do. I’ve also witnessed how challenging the postpartum season can be, and it’s one of the biggest reasons I felt called to become a doula. I want families to feel supported, understood, and never alone as they navigate those vulnerable early weeks.

    I was born and raised in Huntington Beach and now live in South Orange County with my fiancé. For more than ten years, I’ve worked as a nanny caring for newborns through preteens, and I also spent four years as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Those experiences taught me to be nurturing, organized, gentle, and steady under pressure…qualities I bring into every birth and postpartum space.

    As a doula, my goal is to be a calm, comforting presence for families as they move through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I want every parent I work with to feel supported, empowered, and genuinely cared for during one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives.

  • My love for lactation started in 2018 when I personally went through breastfeeding challenges with my child. I struggled through 6 weeks of breastfeeding issues, my baby also had a lip tie and tongue tie,  which was a huge learning curve on how to navigate as a first time mom.  I discovered a lactation consultant that changed my life and saved my breastfeeding journey, thats when I knew I had to be a Lactation Consultant. I obtained my International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential from The University of California San Diego.  I have my Bachelors of Science in Nursing and have experience  working as a Postpartum RN (Registered Nurse) on the Mother Baby Unit and a Baby Nurse on Labor and Delivery.
